• The first paper to sell its self on pictures was called the daily news
• they wanted to use pictures that would grab peoples attention and make them want to buy there news paper
• in 1920 the tabloid wars started
• also in 1920 pictures change and replace drawings in news papers
• people liked seeing pictures because when they saw a picture they had a sense that it was actually real.
• at the time photographers learned how to make the loneliest objects look glamorous
• by the 20 advertisements weren't read they were seen with photographs
• during this time celebrity photography became very popular
• when it came to celebrity's it didn't matter if they sucked at there job all that matters was if they looked good in there pictures
• Babe Ruth was the first to become a commodity
• images defined gravity
• enabled peoples 5 senses to be expanded
• influenced all aspects of life

Dear Evin,
             I'm glad you found some of my old Tahoe pictures interesting. i realized after i choose the album that i didn't have that many element. but when i was taking the pictures i wasn't really looking for them but then again like you said it only face book. i was just taking random picture. to tell the truth i don't really snowboarded it was my second time... and I'm not that good. thanks for looking threw them and writing a response.

Shadow

 The purpose of this assignment was to take a picture that's has a Shadow made by the sun in it and make the shadow so your attention goes straight to it.

Dear Katrina,

               After looking at your face book pictures i realized that your very family oriated. You like to hang out with your family and it seems that you love to be around them a lot. it seemed that your face book photo don't have that many elements to them, or at least i didn't realized them at first. but i did notice that you look like your were having fun in all of your pictures and that you do have some very interesting and cool photos. i also noticed that i was tagged in most of you pictures as well. :) In the future i think i should teach you how to make albums on face book so that you can make them because you told me earlier that you didn't know how to make one. besides that i loved all your photos.

1st shot

So in class today we got assigned a 1 shot assignment. it was supposed to be on 1shot that we take and we weren't allowed to edit it for pick threw other pictures all we were supposed to be doing is looking at the picture threw the camera screen.

i took a picture of the cross on the 2nd floor of the dearly departed.
